Services and Treatment Techniques
Custom Orthotics: Personalized, custom-molded foot supports designed after a thorough gait evaluation to optimize foot and body alignment, providing a stable foundation for active movement.
Dry Needling: A precise technique utilizing thin needles to target and release myofascial trigger points, quickly reducing muscle pain and tension often associated with high-stress jobs and intense workouts.
Electrical Stimulation: Therapeutic use of mild electrical currents applied to muscles to help manage acute pain signals or to enhance muscle recruitment and strength, accelerating recovery.
Gait Analysis: Detailed assessment of walking or running mechanics using video analysis to identify inefficiencies or imbalances, allowing for targeted training to prevent injury on the trails and sidewalks.
Graston Technique: Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that effectively breaks down painful scar tissue and fascial restrictions, restoring full range of motion lost from injury or repetitive urban commuting posture.
Joint Mobilization: Hands-on, skilled manual movements applied to joints with restricted motion to decrease pain and restore optimal movement dynamics, crucial for full recovery from any acute sprain.
Kinesiotaping: Application of supportive, elastic tape to muscles and joints to provide structural support, reduce swelling, and promote neuromuscular feedback during exercise and daily activities.
Muscle Energy Techniques: Gentle, patient-driven muscle contractions used against the therapist’s resistance to immediately improve joint mobility and relieve tightness in restricted muscles.
Myofascial Release: Manual pressure and stretching applied to the fascial system (connective tissue) to release tension and eliminate pain, promoting whole-body movement and flexibility.
Mechanical Traction: Spinal decompression performed by a specialized machine to gently create space between vertebrae, alleviating pressure on nerve roots that commonly cause radiating neck or back pain.

Women’s Health/ Pelvic Health: Our Pelvic Health service in Northeast Minneapolis is designed specifically for the active, professional woman balancing career demands and a high-impact fitness routine. We understand that issues like stress incontinence during a run, pain during intimacy, or nagging hip and low back pain after delivery (whether 6 months or 6 years ago) can sideline your ambition. Our specialized therapists offer discreet, evidence-based treatment to manage symptoms like prolapse, painful intercourse, and incontinence, allowing you to confidently return to high-level activity, whether you’re commuting downtown or hitting the city’s fitness studios.
